Where are the printing/copy machines located in the Franklin library?
Answer
There are 3 copy machines located in the library. Students have access to 2 of the copy machines. The copy machines allocated for student usage have 2 different locations. There's one located in the basement in the computer lab and the other is located on the 1st floor where the section of computers is located under the Winold Reiss art that's displayed on the wall adjacent to the Access Services desk. Both of these printers only print in black & white.
The other printer/copy machine located in the library is for Faculty/Staff usage only and it is located in the copy room behind the Access Services desk. This copy machine prints in both black & white, and color. This copy room is locked, so faculty/staff must gain access by key from the employee working in Access Services.
All of the printers have copying and printing capabilities as well as other functions such as scanning documents to USB devices or printing documents from USB devices. (Access Services does have USB devices available for you to borrow if needed.)
Keep in mind, to save documents in the pdf format when using the "print from USB device" function. Lastly, the copy machines saves all documents in the pdf format.
